Amboakwe LILIAN

Amboakwe LILIAN is a seasoned educationist with 23 years of experience. She began her career as an educationist as a Biology teacher in 2002. In 2018, she was appointed as a Vice Principal in the Government Bilingual High School Bafoussam and progressed to the post of Coordinating Vice Principal in the Government Bilingual High School Maroua in 2022.
She obtained a Master's Degree in Educational Foundations and Administration (MEd-EFA) from the University of Buea after defending her thesis titled “Conflict Management Strategies of Administrators of Government Secondary Schools in the North West Region”, and is currently pursuing a PhD program in the University of Maroua.
As an educationist who has been working within the school milieu for the past two decades, she developed an interest in protecting and promoting girl children by monitoring their activities and giving them sound counsel. She is an adviser to the association of female teachers of GBHS Maroua (AFELBIMA); a forum through which female teachers of this institution organize themselves to carry out philanthropic activities (support to widows, less privileged, and orphans) and workshops to educate as well as empower vulnerable women/girls in the Far North Region of Cameroon.
She is equally a devoured Christian of the Apostolic Church Cameroon, married to a pastor of the same church, and has been serving as a Deaconess for 16 years now. In this capacity, she has been a mentor to many women and girls within the church milieu.
Lilian is discrete, humble, sociable, hospitable, skillful in coordinating activities, and has been like a model to many.
